Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose plexiglass or tempered glass for my frames?
Plexiglass (HD plastic) is lightweight and safer in homes with kids or during frequent swaps, but it scratches more easily. Tempered glass is heavier and more scratch-resistant with better clarity and UV protection—choose it when durability and long-term display quality are priorities.
Can I use mats to change the visible size of my prints?
Yes. Several frames reviewed support mats (for example 18x24 frames that accept 16x20 with a mat). Mats add a professional look and let you use smaller prints in larger frames—just confirm the frame’s mat dimensions before buying.
How do I avoid damage during shipping?
Look for products with corner guards, individual plastic sealing, and layered packaging. Inspect frames on arrival before hanging; if you see cracked corners or scratches, contact the seller for a replacement. Choosing frames from brands that highlight protective packaging can reduce the risk.
